THE STORY: After seeing the Spurs fall to 0-2 versus the Warriors and watching the Heat tie it up in Philly, we’re back for the fourth night of playoff basketball.
There are three games on the schedule this evening, starting with an early game on NBAtv with the Raptors looking to take a commanding 2-0 lead against the whiny Washington Wizards. Half way through that game the the Bucks will try to steal game two against the Celtics. The nightcap is Portland hoping to tie it up after losing game one at home.
While the Raptors have a historical tendency of playing down to the competition, they’re a better team top to bottom than the miserable Washington Wizards. Toronto should play with a real sense of urgency to put the Wizards on the ropes before heading back to DC for games three and four.
The Bucks are a more talented team than Boston (with all the Boston injuries that is), but the Celtics are better coached and it showed in game one. Milwaukee has to find a way to get more out of their best players and limit the over producing Celtic role players.
Anthony Davis is a world beating super human and Portland doesn’t have much of a chance of stopping him. However, they can keep pace and have to find easier ways to score in game two after looking lost for much of the first contest.
