WHAT: The final game in the 2018 NCAA Men’s Tournament
WHEN: 8:20pm Central
WHERE: Alamodome, San Antonio, TX
THE STORY: Tonight the Villanova Wildcats and the Michigan Wolverines will battle it out for the championship in the title game of this year’s men’s tournament (the women wrapped up their season last night with an incredible buzzer beater from Notre Dame).
Villanova will be playing for its second championship in just three years, while Michigan will be looking to earn its second ever (the team won its first in 1989). The Wildcats are hoping their hot three-point shooting carries the day, but it’ll have to overcome one of the best college defense in the Wolverines.
In terms of NBA draft prospects, Jordan Brodess once again has everything you need to know in the championship game edition of Prospect Watch. Be sure to keep an eye out for likely lottery pick Villanova’s Mikal Bridges.
