- Wizards at Raptors (Game 5), 6:00 p.m. CT on NBA TV - Series tied 2-2
- Pacers at Cavaliers (Game 5), 6:00 p.m. CT on TNT - Series tied 2-2
- Timberwolves at Rockets (Game 5), 8:30 p.m. CT on TNT - Rockets up 3-1
- Jazz at Thunder (Game 5); 8:30 p.m. CT on NBA TV - Jazz up 3-1
Two series could be decided tonight as Round One of the NBA Playoffs continues. When we last saw Oklahoma City and Utah, the rout was on, and the Jazz seem to be comfortably coasting to a series win tonight. But, as we all know, OKC can be dangerous at any point when Westbrook decides to turn it on, so we’ll see if they can stage a comeback.
Elsewhere in the Western Conference, the Rockets are on their way to a less than surprising series win if they can beat the Wolves tonight, much to most Mavericks fans’ dismay. After a 50 point quarter for Houston in Game 4, I have the Rockets probably comfortably walking away with this one.
Things are a bit more competitive in the Eastern Conference, with both series tied 2-2. When we last saw LeBron James and Co., some of the Cavs role players stepped up to get the win and tie the series. Checking in on the Wizards and Raptors, each have won two games and each have won their games at home. Tonight, the Raptors are hosting, so we’ll see if the trend continues.
