WHO: Cleveland Cavaliers at Toronto Raptors and Philadelphia 76ers at Boston Celtics
WHAT: The second game in both series of the Eastern Conference semi-finals
WHEN: Cavaliers at Raptors tips early at 5:00pm Central, followed by Sixers at Celtics at 7:30pm.
WHERE: Air Canada Centre, Toronto, ON and TD Garden, Boston, MA
HOW: Cavs-Raptors will be on ESPN; you can catch the later game on TNT.
THE STORY: If you missed Game 1 of the Raptors and Cavaliers series, you really missed something. More specifically, you missed 33-year-old LeBron James sending the game into overtime after trailing for essentially the entire game, allowing the Cavs to steal a game in Toronto and guaranteeing they’ll head back to Cleveland no worse than 1-1. Tonight they’ll try to make that 2-0. The Cavs have their work cut out for them against a superior Raptors team, but it’s never wise to discount LeBron in the playoffs.
Later, the 76ers will look to rebound after a shaky second-round debut. Despite all the injuries, everything went right for the Celtics in Game 1 of this series, while an inexperienced Philly team couldn’t buy a bucket, shooting below 20 percent from deep. Tonight the Sixers will attempt to shake off the rust to even the series.
