GAME THREAD: Playoffs Round 2, Game 4

The Western Conference gets in on the action today.

NBA: Playoffs-Golden State Warriors at New Orleans Pelicans Derick E. Hingle-USA TODAY Sports

THE GAMES:

Golden State Warriors at New Orleans Pelicans, Game 4: 2:30 p.m. CT on ABC

Houston Rockets at Utah Jazz, Game 4: 7:00 p.m. CT on TNT

THE STORY:

Both Western Conference playoff series are 2-1, with the team you’d expect having the series lead - the Warriors and the Rockets respectively.

In New Orleans, the Pelicans ran over the Warriors in a fun Game 3, with Anthony Davis putting the team on his back and Rondo doing things that make Mavericks fans go “oh, NOW you can play?” I’m personally interested to see how the Warriors respond.

For the Jazz, Ricky Rubio and Derrick Favors are questionable, though it sounds like Rubio at least will give it a go. But, still seems probable that Houston gets that crisp 3-1 lead (much to Mavericks’ fans dismay).
