NBA: Phoenix Suns at Dallas Mavericks Jerome Miron-USA TODAY Sports

We’re back! For the first time in my life I took an extended holiday vacation from my real job, so I decided to rest my vocal chords during that time also. Well, we’re 10 days into the new year so it’s about time to quick slacking and start podcasting again.

This week we have staff writer Ian Cobb to talk about the most interesting topics surrounding the Mavericks as they hit the midpoint of the season. This includes whether the Mavericks are a team pulling in two directions, what’s going on with the starters and our takes on Dennis Smith Jr. and his future in Dallas.

We also briefly recap the Phoenix game, because that’s what a weekly podcast is all about: recapping games! Screw it, we’re still shaking off the holiday hangover.
