On January 21st Luka Doncic became the 2nd youngest player to ever record a triple double in a loss against the Milwaukee Bucks. An incredible achievement for any other player. But Luka lives to outdo himself, and just a week later he did.
On January 27th Luka became the youngest player to record a 30 point triple double against the Toronto Raptors. In fact, Luka is the only player this season to record a game with at least 35 points 12 rebounds and 10 assists.
Hey, remember around the NBA draft that group of people that kept saying, ‘yeah, well let’s see Luka do it against NBA talent?’ Me either.
Every game it seems like Luka is both proving his doubters wrong and impressing his fans. Let’s breakdown how Luka Doncic ibecame the youngest player in NBA history with a 30-point triple double.
Luka’s versatility is what sets him apart from a lot of players in the NBA. He has the size to grab boards, the vision to dish out assists, and the ability to score on all three levels.
And every game it becomes more and more baffling why three teams with full-time NBA talent evaluators passed on Luka Doncic in the draft.
