Luka Doncic is on the verge of signing a shoe deal with Jordan Brand, per Tim Cato and Shams Charania of The Athletic.
Luka Doncic's closing in on signing with Jordan Brand, sources tell me and @ShamsCharania

While most young prodigies are starting to sign their shoe deals before their first NBA game, Doncic went a whole season and a half before, potentially, landing with Jordan Brand. Doncic has been famously worn different shoes on a regular basis, sometimes changing shoes at halftime. He’s worn everything from Nike, Under Armour, Puma and Jordan throughout his early career. It appears he’s finally found one to stick with.
Luka joins some heady company. Basketball players under the Jordan Brand include Chris Paul, Zion Williamson, Maya Moore, Jimmy Butler, Russell Westbrook and Blake Griffin. It’s pretty awesome that the two youngest stars in the league — Zion and Luka — will be under the same brand.
Besides his first shoe, the next thing I’m waiting for is his first Jordan Brand commercial. It’s fun to have relevant basketball in Dallas, isn’t it?
