A day after getting snubbed by NBA coaches for the All Star Game, Luka Doncic has been selected as the Western Conference Rookie of the month for January.

It’s as if he’s really, really good! Let’s take a look at his numbers by the month:

  • October/November - 18.5 points, 6.5 rebounds, 4.3 assists and 1.1 steals in just over 33 minutes per game
  • December - 21.1 points, 6.4 rebounds, 6.1 assists and 1.1 steals in just under 31 minutes per game.
  • January - 22.4 points, 8.1 rebounds, 6.4 assists and 1.2 steals in just under 32 minutes per game.

Guys, he’s getting stronger as the season goes. His shooting has taken a slight dip, but that’s not entirely surprising given the volume of basketball Doncic is playing.

These numbers are outrageous. He should have made the All Star team, but winning Rookie of the Month every month and eventually Rookie of the Year will have to do instead.
