WHO: Dallas Mavericks vs. Charlotte Hornets
WHAT: The first chance to see the Mavericks newest players
WHERE: American Airlines Center
WHEN: 7:30 p.m. CST tip off
HOW: FOX Sports Southwest or NBA League Pass
THE STORY: Newly acquired players Tim Hardaway Jr., Courtney Lee, and Trey Burke will make their Dallas debuts tonight against the Hornets in their first home game after a three game road trip.
Carlisle talked in his pregame press conference about the team having lineup flexibility, but none of those three will start tonight. Kristaps Porzingis is in the building wearing a suit as he is still out, likely for the remainder of the season.
Dallas takes on a Charlotte team surrounded by rumors that they might trade for Marc Gasol by the end of the night. In spite of that, only Tony Parker has been held out of the lineup tonight with a strained back. The Mavericks need to take advantage against a team that isn’t one of the stronger teams in the Eastern Conference if they want to keep their playoff hopes alive.
