THE STORY: Absent a trade, the Mavericks will only have pick 37 in this year’s draft. That’s quite a change from last year. when they had us all jumping on our couches as they traded up to get rookie sensation Luka Doncic. I don’t know about you, but I’ll be content to sit back, relax, watch some Luka highlights, and not stress over the fact that Atlanta has the Mavericks’ first round pick this year.

If you’ve missed it, our draft analysts Jordan and Ian have had you covered over the past few weeks with some names you should be looking for Dallas to target with that pick. Last year’s second round pick was Jalen Brunson, and he obviously has panned out very well. So there’s value to be had at 37.
