Oh boy, it’s that time again. Time for hope, disappointment and most importantly — takes. Lots of takes!
NBA free agency officially starts on Sunday at 5:01 p.m. central time and the Mavericks once again have max cap space to work with. However this time they are attempting to use it to fill their roster around two young stars as opposed to one old one.
With Luka Doncic and Kristaps Porzingis in the fold, this is perhaps the most interesting Mavericks off-season in years. So who better than Kirk Henderson to join the show as we hash out all the storylines that have played out so far and our hopes and fears.
We go over all the big names, what the Mavericks should do and our general feelings on what we think is going to be a successful summer, even if Dallas likely won’t get a big fish again.
