NBA schedule release is upon us, and Luka Doncic’s Dallas Mavericks (too soon?) will open the 2019-2020 campaign at home versus the Washington Wizards on October 23.
Of note, the Mavericks will play in 13 nationally televised games (nine on ESPN and four on TNT). That’s up from just five last season, so apparently the Doncic-Porzingis duo is enough to put some extra spotlight on an intriguing young team. They will also play seven games on NBA TV.
The Mavs’ first road game, and their first nationally televised game overall, will be against this year’s rookie to watch, Zion Williamson, and the New Orleans Pelicans on October 25. They will face the Lakers at home for their first nationally televised home game on November 1.
Their longest home stand will come in January, with six games in 10 days in Dallas. The longest road stretch will be four games twice, once from February 26-March 2 and again from March 16-21.
The full schedule is available on mavs.com. Let us know in the comments what games you’re most looking forward to — and we’ll have more details and breakdown in the days to come!
