I met Jason early in my writing career at Mavs Outsider where I learned about his great work at the now defunct Baller Ball, a uniquely funny basketball and comedy website. We’ve stayed in touch over the years as he’s worked his way up the media landscape and Jason even did a few pieces for us here (“Have it All”, Blank Space Rondo, and Dirk Nowitzki/Tim Duncan: Style).

Since it’s the utter dog days of NBA summer, Jason was the perfect guest to bring on to discuss his optimism for the season and how to process Luka Doncic/Kristaps Porzingis workout videos and photos. He also tells the legendary story of creating and performing Halleluka at the American Airlines Center.

Finally, we end with Jason telling us what it’s like being one of the few Dallas area fans at Ringer central as well as letting us know when his Emmy Award winning show NBA Desktop returns! This was a lot of fun.
