It’s a bit more of a winding conversation than normal, since Adam and I each decided to use this episode for our respective feeds. Adam walks me through the Nuggets slowly working through their lackluster start, mainly with star center Nikola Jokic remembering how to play basketball as he lost some weight. Then we talk about how the Mavericks came together as well as the bumpy patch Dallas is playing through at the moment. Next we discuss the rise of Luka Doncic and Adam instructs us all to enjoy this part of the ride before expectations get frustrating.

It’s a long conversation, veering back and forth between the two teams (I somehow forgot to ask him about Michael Porter Jr.) as well as some broad Western Conference talk.
