THE STORY: After a clean injury sheet for most of the season, the luck looked to have run out for the Mavs, starting with Doncic’s ankle sprain and compounded by knee soreness for Kristaps Porzingis and hamstring issues for Tim Hardaway Jr. The slew of bumps and bruises interrupted a lineup that had seemed to finally found its groove and brought back the days of eternal tinkering for Rick Carlisle.

Porzingis remains unavailable against Denver, but Luka, Tim Hardaway Jr, an ascendent Maxi Kleber (13ppg on 45.5% from 3 in his last 5 games), and the rest of the Dallas bench mob will look to win two in a row for the first time in 2020 and prove that the road win in Denver, maybe the most impressive win so far this season, wasn’t a fluke.
