Sunday Open Thread

Things just feel off and it’s something I’m unlikely to ever get used to with these weird seasons.

We should be getting ready for the opening tip of the 2020-21 season in the coming weeks; instead, the NBA Finals are ongoing with a chance to extend the series to seven games happening tonight with game six of Miami versus Los Angeles.

That said, we’re here and it’s up to us to make the best of it. With the draft in just five weeks, we have plenty of draft coverage coming over the next month. Free agency and the start of the next season is still unclear and as a result, we’re waiting to really sink our teeth into those sorts of posts and content ideas.

So if there are things you’d like to see discussed, let us know in the comments. We have a range of ideas that we are rolling out slowly every week so there’s a chance if you’re thinking about something Maverick related, so are we. If we get enough questions, it could become a mailbag response post or one of our writers might want to respond to a question or a comment with an entire post.
