The Dallas Mavericks selected Josh Green with the 18th pick of the NBA Draft Thursday night. Dallas entered this evening’s draft with the two picks, 18 and 31. For the Mavericks they’re adding a potential 3-and-D wing who averaged 12 points, 4.6 rebounds and 2.6 assists per game during his lone season at Arizona.

With an odd offseason due to the pandemic, a condensed free agency and training camp, and a draft class with a lot of uncertainty from experts, there have been plenty of trades and speculation of shuffling tonight.
At this time the Mavericks still have one pick remaining this evening, with the chance to go in plenty of directions. With the volume of trades that have happened in the last 72 hours, truly anything is possible at this point.
We’ll have reactions and analysis later on tonight or tomorrow.
UPDATE: Green’s happy to be with the Mavericks.
