THE STORY: The Dallas Mavericks face off against the Los Angeles Lakers. Dallas is playing their first Christmas Day game since 2011, when the Mavericks played the Miami Heat months after beating them in the 2011 NBA Finals. It did not go well for the Mavericks.
Luka Doncic seems to very much enjoy playing against Lebron James and given some of the media gushing in recent weeks, Lebron enjoys Luka’s game just as much. This should all make for fantastic basketball, assuming the Mavericks are reasonably awake following their sloppy performance against the Phoenix Suns. The same can likely be said of the Lakers, who lost their opener to the Clippers following their ring ceremony.
Personally, I’m looking forward to the uniform match up.
