THE STORY: It’s not quite the rivalry of old, but these games are still incredibly important for the Mavericks as they try to build on their already impressive season. On the other end, the Spurs are on the brink of missing the playoffs for the first time since 1997 - the longest streak in any major North American sports league.

The last time these teams met, the Mavericks came away with a four-point victory at home in Dallas. The Mavericks are still without Jalen Brunson (right shoulder sprain) and Willie Cauley-Stein (personal reasons).

This will be Luka Doncic’s last game as a 20-year-old before the team heads to Miami to take on the Heat. Miami could be a great place to turn 21....
