At the risk of crossing the streams in Dallas area sports, I wanted to take this moment to show Cowboys fans that there’s one quarterback who is sure to be with the team that drafted him for a long, long time.
A man of many talents How’d he do, @dallascowboys? #MFFL pic.twitter.com/TCfqxlcoIt

I’d say that Luka Doncic has pretty good throwing form but we don’t get enough of a look at what sort of power he has throwing the football. Accuracy is one I have zero concerns with, given his wizardry with basketball passes, same with touch.
He’s a little tall to play quarterback in the modern NFL, but given his ability to take hits, I have little concern with Doncic playing one of the toughest positions in all of sports. He’ll adapt quickly, should the Cowboys reach out after this season.
For those unaware, the Dallas Cowboys were unable to come to a long term agreement with their quarterback, Dak Prescott. Today was the last day he could reach a contract agreement and as a result the Cowboys will use what’s called the Franchise Tag, which pays him a one year average of the top five salaries in the NFL of players at the same position. Prescott will make an enormous amount of money in one year but without the security that comes with a long term contract.
Though Dak’s future beyond this season is as muddy as possible, it’s safe to say that Luka Doncic will be the quarterback of the Dallas Mavericks for as long as he’s able to play the job.
