WHO: Dallas Mavericks vs Los Angeles Lakers
WHAT: A chance to see the closest thing to real Maverick basketball since March!
WHERE: Disney World
WHEN: 6:00 p.m. CT
HOW: Fox Sports Southwest or NBAtv
THE STORY: After months and months off, the Dallas Mavericks take the floor in a scrimmage against the LA Lakers. It’s “JUST A SCRIMMAGE” is a thing you need to repeat to yourself early and often unless the Mavericks beat the crap out of the Lakers, in which case this thing is a very important indicator of where Dallas might head in the playoffs. Heck, Rick Carlisle says “anything is in play” tonight, so hopefully that means something weird as hell like a five guard starting line up.
Though there are some questions worth asking about the team prior to this sort of thing, it’s really going to be great to see Luka Doncic, Kristaps Porzingis, and the rest of the guys on my television. Oh and I suppose Lebron James and Anthony Davis will be nice to see as well.
At any rate, just remember to enjoy the game.
