The first three games all tip at 8pm CT while the fourth game is a Sunday matinee. All games will be played every other day since there are no travel accommodations.
The Mavericks finished the season with a 43-31 (.581) record and played inconsistent ball in Orlando. In a playoff preview, the Mavericks fell to the Clippers 126-111 bringing their season record to 0-3 against Los Angeles.
Speaking to the media after the Mavericks final seeding game, head coach Rick Carlisle discussed the challenges the Clippers posed.
“They’re deep, they’re physical, they’re experienced — those are the big things,” Carlisle said. “It’s an experienced team that plays with attitude so we’re going to have to prepare for that. We’re going to have to attack them hard.”
The Mavericks season has been a rousing success, but the next phase starts Monday night.
