WHO: Dallas Mavericks vs Los Angeles Clippers

WHAT: The first Dallas playoff game in four years

WHERE: Disney World

WHEN: 8:00p.m. CT

HOW: TNT

THE STORY: The Mavericks will look to get a win against the Los Angeles Clippers in the second game of round one of the playoffs. DUH. Looking for something to do before the game? This Jonathan Tjarks post is awesome.

What more can be said here that hasn’t been mentioned elsewhere? Kristaps Porzingis is going to play despite a sore knee. Luka Doncic wasn’t on any injury report after that weird slip in the first quarter. The Mavericks will attempt to not crap the bed early.

The Clippers are good, but so are the Mavericks. What will be of interest to me is how the Mavericks attempt to balance their need to play defense against the Clippers excellent offense with their need to score a ton of points. The comments in this post from earlier today have largely been about which sort of line ups should the Mavericks play. I guess we’re going to find out soon how things shake out.
