THE STORY: Can the Mavericks win a basketball game? That’s the story and all that matters. Luka Doncic and Kristaps Porzingis and the entire crew have to show up, perform, and put the Kings out of their misery. These last two games have been the sort of gut wrenching losses that are why we all have a love/hate relationship with sports. It’s been nice to be mad about something other than the state of the world.
That said, it’d be great if the Mavericks went out and beat the pants off of the struggling Kings. Dallas is the better team but Dallas was also the better team compared to Phoenix and that didn’t matter in the end.
