WHAT: Is two straight wins a thing

WHEN: 5:30 p.m. CT

HOW: TNT and Fox Sports Southwest

THE STORY: The short-handed Mavericks (no Seth Curry for unknown reasons) get to see their most likely playoff opponent one more time in the Los Angeles Clippers. The Clippers are not at full strength either, missing Montrezl Harrell and Patrick Beverley, but they still have two real Luka Doncic stoppers in Kawhi Leonard and Paul George. This would be a huge win for the Mavericks as it would actually knock the Clippers back in the standings. Barring something nuts, Dallas is pretty locked into the 7th seed with just 4 or so games remaining for most teams. But a Maverick victory would boost the Denver Nuggets a half game ahead of the Clippers in the standings.
