WHAT: The Mavericks want to get over .500, again

WHEN: 7:30 p.m. CT

HOW: Fox Sports Southwest or NBA League Pass

THE STORY: The Mavericks get to play their second straight home game! A rare occurrence thus far in the 2020-21 season. Following the shellacking at the hands of the Houston Rockets on Saturday night, hopefully the Dallas Mavericks are eager to get out on the floor and show they can play with effort.

The last time the Dallas Mavericks were reasonably close to whole as a team came against the Denver Nuggets where an impressive fourth quarter allowed the Mavericks to walk away with a big road win. Denver’s playing after a day off following a pair of overtime victories over the Phoenix Suns. Hopefully the Mavericks can catch Denver on an off night because I’m just not sure they’ll have the juice to keep pace with a tough Nuggets team.
