WHAT: Getting to .500 finally. Hopefully

THE STORY: PERHAPS THIS IS THE NIGHT THE MAVERICKS GET TO .500!

Is that worthy of all caps? Maybe? Maybe not. It’s a late game, so anything goes. The last time these two teams met, Boban Marjanovic stomped the Nuggets into the ground so hard the league shut down for several months (perhaps it was the pandemic we’re still in). Either way, this should be a good game by two teams who are still looking for consistency. The Nuggets are terrible on defense but feature a MVP candidate in Nikola Jokic. The Mavericks are apparently better at defense now and are finding their offense while having potential MVP candidate Luka Doncic.

Enjoy the game and some different announcers. I’ll likely leave this thread up on the main page until tomorrow at some point unless a lot happens in this game we should do extra coverage on.
