THE STORY: The Mavericks continue to build on four straight victories despite having the worst defense in the NBA for 15 or so games now. Luckily, the Blazers also stink at defense but have a better record with Damian Lillard being a world beater. This will be a high scoring affair and hopefully another game where Kristaps Porzingis feasts with Portland having few healthy bigs. It’ll be worth watching to see if Dallas can keep Enes Kanter off the boards.
This is the sixth straight home game for the Mavericks and they’re looking for their fifth straight win. A victory would bring them back to .500 after they fell five games below the mark earlier this year.
