Our man PandaHank41 comes up in the clutch during a few days (maybe more) without basketball. This time, here’s a seven and a half minute throw back look at a January 2004 game when the big three of the Dallas Mavericks hung a crisp 75 points on the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Past the video, the box score is absolutely incredible. First, the Mavericks (click here if you can’t see the embed).
This is line up is a look into the future, but from 2004. Dirk Nowitzki is basically the center with the Mavericks having space to score and boy did they. 119 points! Then there’s the minutes totals. Four out of five starters plays 39 minutes or more. Then Josh Howard and Antawn Jamison play about 30 minutes themselves. There’s a few minutes for Danny Fortson, but that’s about it. Steve Nash, Dirk, and Finley shooting a combined 26-46 for the aforementioned 75 points. Whew.
Then there’s the Timberwolves.
They play a few more guys, but that’s about it in terms of differences. Both teams shoot essentially 50% from the three point line.
Some truly incredible players in this game.
