Join Mavs Moneyball Live, Friday around lunch

Over the last week or so, we at Mavs Moneyball have been dipping our toes into the live audio boom, specifically hosting some hangouts in the Locker Room app. Tomorrow on Friday at 12:30 p.m. CST I’ll be hosting one. Download the app, drop by, ask me a question!

What is Locker Room? Well it’s a relatively new venture, dating back to the fall encouraging sports fans to talk live with one another over the app. The app, which at the moment is only on the App store for iPhone users, allows you to join a “room” where one or more of us will be talking Dallas Mavericks, then ask questions and join in the conversation. It’s also not available for desktop yet. It’s expected to expand eventually.

Here’s the steps you need to take to join our conversation:

1. Download the Locker Room app.
2. Try to find and follow me, my handle is @KirkHenderson35
3. Be looking around 12:30 p.m. CST and join our room. At the moment it’s under the “Everything NBA” group and has the show man “Mavs Moneyball Live”. There’s also a MFFL group.
4. If you’re not able to join, don’t worry, the audio will also go up as a podcast late tonight or tomorrow morning. Ask me some questions you’d like answered!

Again, it’s surprisingly fun as those who’ve joined in can attest. It’s very much in the vein of Mavs Moneyball in that it’s a democratization of content, where you as a fan get to have a voice. The audio terms of service note that your voice may be used in podcasts and depending on how the room goes, we may use it as an episode of the Mavs Moneyball podcast.
