THE STORY: It’s been over a month since the Dallas Mavericks were over .500 (last seen after the January 22nd victory over the San Antonio Spurs). Tonight they have the chance to get over the hump against an Orlando Magic team that’s just looking to get to All Star break, having lost three straight.
The Mavericks need to be careful, though. After a stretch of solid performances, Dallas can’t get caught in a trap game, either tonight or Wednesday. The Magic are dealing with a ton of injuries at the moment but NBA teams are capable of putting together winning performances on any given night.
But, kind of like the NBA, we’re just trying to get to the All Star break too. Not sure if I’m going to leave this post up until tomorrow but I likely will. Everyone be nice and go Mavs.
