Trade deadline Mavs Moneyball Live on Locker Room

Thursday at 12 p.m CST, a few hours before the NBA trade deadline of 2 p.m. I’m going to go live on the Locker Room app to take your questions, listen to your concerns, and generally talk about all things Mavericks.

We’ve been doing Locker Rooms, both scheduled and unscheduled the past few weeks and they’ve been a great deal of fun, particularly the post game ones. If you’re unfamiliar, it’s essentially live internet radio where any participant can ask to speak.

What is Locker Room in a bigger picture sense? Well it’s a relatively new venture, dating back to the fall encouraging sports fans to talk live with one another over the app. The app, which at the moment is only on the App store for iPhone users, allows you to join a “room” where one or more of us will be talking Dallas Mavericks, then ask questions and join in the conversation. It’s also not available for desktop yet. It’s expected to expand eventually.

Here’s the steps you need to take to join our conversation:

1. Download the Locker Room app.
2. Try to find and follow me, my handle is @KirkHenderson35
3. Be looking around 12:30 p.m. CST and join our room. At the moment it’s under the “NBA” group and has the show man “Mavs Moneyball Live”. There’s also a MFFL group.
4. If you’re not able to join, don’t worry, the audio will also go up as a podcast late tonight or tomorrow morning. Ask me some questions you’d like answered here in the comments!
