THE STORY: The Mavericks play a rare home game in the middle of a very long road stretch.
Dallas beat the Pacers earlier this year only this time, the shoe is on the other foot with one of their star players likely missing the game as of this writing. Luka Dončić developed “back tightness” (which sounds like code for “rest”) earlier today.
Which should be a good challenge for Kristaps Porzingis and a Dallas crew that did not miss Dončić at all during their last game against Minnesota. Hopefully the Mavericks pull out this one as the Pacers have not had the most successful season and Dallas needs every win.
