THE STORY: Playoff basketball is back! The Mavericks enter the postseason for the second time in the Luka Doncic-era, facing the Clippers in a rematch from last season’s playoffs. An undermanned Dallas team pushed Los Angeles to seven games, including Doncic’s legend-making buzzer-beating three pointer in Game 4.

Things are a little different this team. The Mavericks will have Kristaps Porzingis, Dwight Powell, Jalen Brunson and Willie Cauley-Stein available and the Clippers have re-tooled their roster around Kawhi Leonard and Paul George. The Clippers are still very, very good, but the Mavericks are better as well. It should be an entertaining matchup at the very least.
