MMB Lounge: Creeping towards free agency

Here’s the last lounge. Sorry for the delay in updates. Usually Beachdrifter sends me a note and I just may have missed it. I’m sorry. I move to Dallas next week and life is chaos.

Speaking of chaos, now that Dallas has a front office, it’s time to turn our minds to unbelievably reckless speculation. What is your position of choice for the Mavericks to try to upgrade? I’m sort of set on a ball handler but the brigade of Dallas big men is lacking in key areas. So I’m persuadable. The initial theme of the summer for me was simply saying yes to new things. Trade guys, sign different guys, just do something.

The second thing, now that the finals are over, is I wonder how close Dallas is to the next step? They were one game away from the second round because Luka Doncic is a monster... yet the physicality of the playoffs, particularly the finals, was a different beast than what Dallas is equipped to deal with.
