Luka Doncic is the toughest player to guard according to Patrick Beverley

It should come as no surprise to anyone that has watched Patrick Beverley attempt to guard Luka Doncic that Beverley believes Luka is the hardest person for him to guard. In the immortal words of Luka, Beverley is “Too ##### small.”

Beverley went so far as to say that Luka was “easily” the hardest person he has had to guard. Beverley is listed at 6’1 and 180 pounds. Luka is listed at 6’7 and 230 pounds and is likely heavier than 230. That gives Luka a 6 inch height and 50 pound weight advantage minimum. Beverley is a tenacious defender who has given some bigger scorers problems but Luka has utilized his size and strength advantages to bully Beverley.

Ever the optimist, Beverley said that he would “try to get his lick back” on Luka this year. Unless he has obtained the ooze from the old Ninja Turtles Movies, it is unlikely that Beverly will be getting his lick back any time soon. Luka is simply too big and too talented for Beverley to defend.
