The Dallas Mavericks (9-5) head back out on the road again this year, this time to play the Los Angeles Lakers (9-6). This one has a late start for local fans, at 9:30 pm and will be on Bally Sports Southwest. The Mavericks will be playing their ninth road game of the season, where they’re 5-3 so far. The Lakers are getting their ninth home game and thus far this season they’ve been stout at the arena. Let’s get to the key things:

  • WHO: Dallas Mavericks at Los Angeles Lakers
  • WHAT: West Coast Road Trip
  • WHERE: Arena, Los Angeles, California
  • :WHEN: 9:30 pm CST
  • HOW: Bally Sports Southwest

On the injury front, Maxi Kleber is still out for the Mavericks. Seth Curry is listed as questionable with illness and right hip soreness. LeBron James is questionable with a calf issue, but he played last night. Jarrod Vanderbilt is out with a heel injury. Cam Reddish will miss the game with an abductor injury. Gabe Vincent will miss the game with a knee issue.

If you haven’t visited the site lately, we have the longer preview here as well as the gambling post. There’ve also been two good posts this week on the state of the Dallas defense. Jack analyzed the specifics of what went badly against the Kings. Matthew wrote about how the defense is the most important ability role players can bring to Dallas lineups. David also had this week’s grades.

We’ll have the usual post-game stuff up after the game. As it’s a holiday tomorrow I won’t be pushing the staff to turn much in but the thing about our team is people always surprise me. Thanks for hanging out at Mavs Moneyball and if you are celebrating Thanksgiving tomorrow, have a great day.
