The Dallas Mavericks (14-8) host the Los Angeles Lakers (14-9), fresh off their championship in the NBA’s inaugural In-Season Tournament. The game is nationally broadcast on TNT starting at 6:30 pm. While the Mavericks defeated the Grizzlies last night in Memphis, the Lakers have had a couple of days off after beating the Indiana Pacers Saturday night. Let’s get to the key stuff:

  • WHO: Dallas Mavericks vs Los Angeles Lakers
  • WHAT: A nationally televised game of two of the West’s best on TNT
  • WHERE: American Airlines Center, Dallas, Texas
  • WHEN: 7:00 pm CST
  • HOW: TNT

The injury reports are a bit of a bloodbath. Luka Doncic will be available and Tim Hardaway is still to be decided. Kyrie Irving, Josh Green, Derrick Jones Jr. and Maxi Kleber are all missing the game. On the Lakers side of things, LeBron James and Anthony Davis are still listed as questionable, though I expect at least one to play. Jarred Vanderbilt is available to play tonight.

We some how wrote all sorts of things in the last 48 hours, beyond the normal recap and post-game work from the Grizzlies game. Head back to the main page to read some of it during commercials.

Thanks for hanging out with us at Mavs Moneyball! We’ll be back after the game with a recap and stats post and whatever else we come up with. Go Mavs.
