The Dallas Mavericks (16-10) host the Los Angeles Clippers (16-10) in Dallas on Wednesday night at the American Airlines Center. The game starts at 7:30 pm and will be shown on Bally Sports Southwest. This is already the third match of the season between the two teams, with Dallas having won each of the first two contests handily. However, the Clippers have come alive as of late and are riding an eight-game win streak. Let’s get to the key things:
- WHO: Dallas Mavericks vs Los Angeles Clippers
- WHAT: Dallas hopes to slow the red-hot Clippers
- WHERE: American Airlines Center, Dallas, Texas
- WHEN: 7:30 pm CST
- HOW: Bally Sports Southwest
With injuries, Dallas is still ravaged. Josh Green and Maxi Kleber are out forever. Kyrie Irving is out as well and Dereck Lively is out, but hopefully each other these guys can make it back soon. On the Clippers side, Paul George is questionable as is Bones Hyland and Norman Powell (as of this writing at 3:30 pm). Mason Plumlee is out.
This will be another tough battle for Dallas. They’re so injured, it’s hard to take much from losses or wins. Luka Doncic is playing so well, but how long can he be expected to carry the load against teams with far superior talent depth? Still, Luka seems to relish playing the Clippers.
Here’s hoping other Mavericks can hit threes. See everyone after the game with our usual lot of posts.
