The Dallas Mavericks (18-14, 10-7 Away) travel to face the Golden State Warriors (15-16, 9-7 Home) in their final game of the 2023 calendar. In this rematch of the 2022 Western Conference Finals, only a handful of players from those teams remain. Can Dallas avoid a three-game losing streak? Let’s parse the lines and props for betting value.

Game Details

Fixture: Dallas Mavericks vs Golden State Warriors | NBA 2023-2024

Date and Time: Saturday, December 30th, 2023; 7:30 PM CST

Venue: Chase Center, San Francisco, California

Outcome Odds

  • Spread: Warriors -4.5 (-110)
  • O/U 242
  • Mavs ML: +150

Odds up to date as of 1:15 PM CST from DraftKings

Player Props

  • Brandin Podziemski over 1.5 three-pointers made (-110)

The Mavericks have allowed the 9th most makes from beyond the arc so far this season. Podziemski’s splits lean to the home side (42 percent versus 36 on the road) on higher volume. Take BP to make at least a pair of three balls.

Play of the Day

I have not been shy about picking against the Mavericks and on at least one occasion they proved me wrong. Here is a spot where it feels right to take a chance on a Mavs win paired with a strong game from a rested Luka Doncic. After resting his ailing quad against Minnesota, expect #77 to be fresh for this one. Golden State is underwhelming at home this year and their defense is not what it has been in years past. No Draymond, Wiggins in the doghouse, and Klay Thompson more than a step slower on defense than just two years ago. This parlay is cogent and presents some very nice value. Go Mavs.
