With a week to go until the NBA 2022 Trade Deadline, it’s worth asking the crowd this very simple question:

Reddit, Facebook, and Twitter are all very nervous about the Mavericks and the upcoming deadline. Why? Well there are a lot of reasons. First, there’s a great deal of concern around Christian Wood and whether he’ll get an extension or not. If they can’t come to terms, Dallas should probably move him. Second is the team just isn’t very good. They’re fifth in the West as of this writing but they’re sitting on top of a pile of mediocre teams and are starting at a brutal schedule heading into All Star break. They have a point differential of 0.3, which translates into Dallas being a .500 team according to a variety of data, despite them being two games over it.

So tell us what you think. Do the Mavericks make a panic trade? Do they stand pat and hope to gel and go on a run?
