SB Reacts: Are you happy with the Dallas Mavericks’ offseason?

The Dallas Mavericks had a VERY active offseason. I wrote my praise of the offseason here, but I’ve noticed some growing frustration in social media platforms that the Mavericks couldn’t do everything the team needed in a single summer. I’m curious whether that’s centered within the more outspoken elements of people willing to comment on things publicly, or if it’s a broader sentiment. Are you happy with the offseason?

Because the Mavericks have invested in Dereck Lively, I expect them to play him. There’s been a lot of concern about the center position, but I think back to his college season where he started off not playing much and by year’s end, he was the best defensive player in the conference. That probably can’t happen on an NBA level, but I do think he’s good enough to play now.
