The Dallas Mavericks (22-16) host the New York Knicks (22-15) in American Airlines Center Thursday night. The game starts at 7:30 pm CST and will be broadcast on Bally Sports Southwest. The Mavericks are coming off a rather annoying loss to the Memphis Grizzlies and need to find a way to get on track after looking like a lottery team. The Knicks are riding a five-game win streak with their most recent victory coming at the hands of the Trailblazers. Let’s get to the key stuff:
- WHO: Dallas Mavericks vs New York Knicks
- WHAT: Game 5 of a long home stand for the Mavericks
- WHERE: American Airlines Center, Dallas Texas
- WHEN: 7:30 pm CST
- HOW: Bally Sports Southwest
Luka Doncic and Dante Exum are each out. Maxi Kleber and Derrick Lively are each listed as doubtful, which is progression! Grant Williams is questionable but perhaps that should simply be a permanent designation for him. The Knicks are without Mitchell Robinson who should be out for most of the regular season.
There’s the longer preview for the game here and the gambling post as well. Today we also got the second return for the All-Star game and Luka is doing well in the voting. We’ve been a little light on other content lately, I’ll see if we can change that. I suppose we could be writing more on some of this trade slosh, but I can’t bring myself to do it.
Thanks for hanging out on Mavs Moneyball, we’ll have at least the recap and the stats post, and probably a podcast as well.
